Bloons Tower Defense 4 (iPhone/iPod Touch) is the mobile BTD4 game extension. The icon has Mortar Monkey on it. The iPhone/iPod Touch version of Bloons TD 4 is very similar to the online, flash version of the game, but there are a few differences.
The actual game play element, is exactly the same, you have the same choice of towers, the same upgrades, and the same ranking system.
Towers
The Towers available and their upgrades are identical to the online version.
However, some changes to certain towers are:
Wizard tower's tempest tornado no longer pop MOAB or BFB, unlike their PC counterpart (although fire and lighting will still pop it).
Ring of Fire still does hit everything around it, though it still seems to shoot in 8 directions only. It also has a greatly increased fire rate from the online version.
Battleships have a slightly faster fire rate than PC counterpart.

Tracks and Modes
When you first play the game, you will only have access to two tracks, "Ocean Road" and "Go Bananas".
To unlock more of the tracks, you must play and win on each track, earning a medal.
Ocean Road
This map features a tracks with only straight roads and many corners, ideal for using Tack Shooter . There is also an ocean to the bottom of the screen, for placing a Monkey Buccaneer .
This track is the same as in the online version, within which it is known as the "Beginner" track.
Go Bananas
This track is exclusive to the iPhone/iPod Touch game. And has an appropriate name, as the track depicts a diagram of a bunch of bananas, the middle parts of which contain water.
Glitches
- When playing on Hard mode, save and quit your game and then return and everything will be slightly cheaper. This glitch has been fixed.
