Bloons Tower Defense 3 is an online game created by Ninja Kiwi. It is the official sequel to Bloons Tower Defense 2 after many players wanted something even more advanced. In this Tower Defense game, you shoot at balloons (the enemies) known as Bloons with towers such as Dart Monkeys, Tack Shooters, and Super Monkeys that you can buy. It is the prequel to Bloons Tower Defense 4.
Game
The game, for the most part, is like its prequel except with new features, more upgrades for the towers, more levels before the game finishes and also much better graphics. There are now eight different defense tracks you can choose from, four you can play immediately when starting, and four you can play after you've beaten the other four on easy , medium , or hard . There are now twelve weapons you can buy. Each one (excluding the bottom row) can be upgraded, has two upgrade paths, and two upgrades in each upgrade path. Some cost more than others but are usually more effective if strategized right. A list of all towers and their uses follows. Because Bloons TD2 was the hardest, Ninja Kiwi made BTD3 a bit easier.
Towers
Dart Monkey
Cost (on medium): 250
Damage: very weak to weak
ROF (rate of fire): fast
Range: medium to high
Notes: Do not underestimate the Dart Monkey! It may do ridiculously little damage, but its high ROF and big range allow it to deal its damage frequently and over a large area. It's great for sweeping up bloons that your other towers may have missed. A track full of Dart Monkeys equal a Super Monkey and can take down a M.O.A.B. What about the same layout and 1 Super Monkey? Guess what will it destroy.
Tack Shooter
Cost: 360
Damage: weak
ROF: medium
Range: medium
Notes: A very popular tower, the Tack Shooter is unique that its tack pattern over a wide surrounding area. It is best placed at curves in the track so that it will reach as much track as possible. This tower makes a great initial offense if used in groups. The Blade Shooter's better. It's very pink for sure.
Ice Ball
Cost:435
Damage:harmless (medium with Snap Freeze)
ROF: medium (slow with longer freeze time)
Range:very low to low
Notes: This tower can freeze bloons. Cannons, Missile Launchers, and Sonic Boomerangs/Glaives can pop them. However, only Sonic Boomerangs/Glaives can pop Frozen Black Bloons. Slows down bloons with Permafrost. For a reason the,Snap Freeze does not do damage to red bloons which is unusual.
Boomerang

Spike-O-Pult
Cost: 610
Damage: strong
ROF: slow (medium with faster reload)

Notes: This tower POPs. It shoots spiked balls that pierce. It destroys bloons. Who never saw 50 Spike-O-Pult defeating a M.O.A.B.?
Cannon
Cost: 740
Damage: strong
ROF: medium
Range: medium-high to high
Notes: This tower can't pop Black Bloons unless it has Frag Bombs. Missle Launcher's missles fly fast!
Monkey Beacon

ROF: dosen't fire
Range: high to high-very high
Notes: This tower dosen't fire, but increases ranges of towers (We're looking at you, Super Monkey). If a super monkey in its range has epic range, then it can attack almost the whole screen! Also, Jungle Drums increases fire rate!
Super Monkey
Cost: 4080
Damage: super strong
ROF: very fast to hypersonic
Range: medium - high to super high
Notes: This tower shoots hypersonic with Plasma Vision. It is useful for popping M.O.A.Bs with towers, and the range gets fatal increases! Now that's just plain dangerous!
Road Spikes
Cost: 30
Damage: normal
ROF:dosen't fire
Range: contacts with bloons
Notes: This roadblock can pop 10 bloons at once. Get past that bloons if you need to!
Monkey Glue
Cost: 35

Notes: It slows down bloons so the towers can get those yellows. Make a splat sound.
Pineapple
Cost: 25

ROF: medium-slow (3 seconds).
Range: medium sized explosion
Notes: It is a roadblock that explodes after 3 seconds (without lag). This is the only trap that pops lead bloons. Who heard of exploding pineapples?
Glitch
Right click while selecting a tower on a green area. Then, left click on the road. It will put the tower on the road but not place it.
Also, you may put a spike off the road as seen in the image (circled in red):
